By Diaz Allen

Have you heard the phrase "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach"? I don't know if that is true, nor do I care. However, if you find yourself wanting to impress your honey before Valentine's Day or your birthday, prepare this simple dish and you will literally have your love eating from the palm of your hand.

1/4 Cup Sliced Almonds

1 Box Yellow Cake Mix

1 Tbs Ground Cinnamon

1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg

2 Tbs Fine Granulated Sugar

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 385 degrees.

2. In a 9”X 13” pan, layer peaches evenly and sprinkle almonds on top.

3. Evenly cover with cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.

4. Cover mixture completely with cake mix. (Be sure to crush lumps with fork.)

5. Slice butter and lay slices equal distance apart on top of cake mix.

6. Bake for 50 minutes. (Mixture should brown and firm.)
